port forward for shoutcast tv dnas

VIDEO: In this video I will show you how to enable port forwarding on your router.

A shoutcast tv or radio server, if not connected directly to the internet sitting behind a router may need to be setup on a static ip address. This will mean you need to open a port on your router to allow incoming connections to your dnas server on only these ports, keeping your machine behind the hardware firewall, while still allowing viewing of your shoutcast stream. Hosting your own dns server is not for everyone but hopefully I have shed some light for you. = Digg ThisAdd To Del.icio.us Add To Furl Add To Reddit Fav This With Technorati Add To Yahoo MyWeb Add To Newsvine Add To Google Bookmarks Add To Bloglines Add To Ask Add To Windows Live Add To Slashdot Stumble This =
